National Immunization Awareness Month

August is National Immunization Awareness Month, an ideal time for caregivers and LTSS providers to check and see if their vaccinations are up to date.

Regardless of care setting, elders are at high risk for serious illness due to complications from influenza and COVID-19.

Help keep older adults healthy by urging all caregivers and LTSS providers to talk with a healthcare professional about which vaccines are right for them. Also, download and share this list of vaccinations for adults.
